Volunteers Needed for RiverFest

On June 17th, 18th and 19th, the Riverfront Parks Committee will proudly present their 2022 Annual RiverFest Celebration at Nesbitt Park. Due to it being Father’s Day on Sunday, the Committee has decided to schedule the dragon boat racing for a later date. The only activity running on Sunday will be the kayak tours down the river.

Volunteers are needed each day for the following tasks:

Friday: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM

-kayak arrival-help is needed to retrieve kayaks from the boat launch-7PM

-parking attendant to direct traffic- 4PM- 8PM

Saturday – 9:00 AM- 5:00 PM

-assistance with table set-up- 9 AM

-assistance with Fish Print station- all day

-assistance with Kid’s Yoga-2:00 PM.

-tear down of tables and chairs- 4:30 PM.

-kayak arrival- help is needed to retrieve kayaks from boat launch- 2:00 PM

-parking attendant to direct traffic 10AM-4PM

Sunday- 2:00 PM

-kayak arrival- help is needed to retrieve kayaks from boat launch- 2:00 PM

Your help is needed to make this year’s’ RiverFest a successful event for the public . Please consider volunteering for the above tasks. Additionally, please extend this volunteer request to family and friends. Attached is the volunteer flyer for your reference.
